Oakfield enjoyed a bubble bath in the locks on the way up to Calf Heath on Friday morning. Several boats had already arrived, Aquagem, Sickle, Iona, Comfortably Numb with butty Echoes, Dr Bradley’s Linctus, Tonka, Old Friends, and we all met up in Misty’s Bar at the junction in the evening.
We were joined by Headjog, Mike who had come over from Ireland for the weekend! As Friday night was fish and chip night, we were well catered for. With so much chatter to catch up on the ‘bantering’ went on pretty late and we all rolled off to bed early in the morning!
